Please Describe Your Role at ReportOUT?

I started as a researcher then when education team was established I was the team leader (we produced resources for schools about SOGIs history, misconceptions, rights and inequality) then I moved to events during COVID to help making entrant events (bingo, trivia etc) and I am awaiting to complete my mental health first aider alongside being well being officer.

Describe yourself in three words

Loyal, unorthodox, sassy and humorous (lush).

What is your background?

Fluent in Arabic and English (which will  help translating when in contact with only Arabic speaking people)

Teaching skills in planning and making resources and scheme of work for education

Medical background to support in wellbeing.

What Impact has your role had on the charity?

Organising events, delivering training to schools who are willing to adapt our scheme of work and help to ensure the welfare of my fellow volunteers.

What is one thing you aim to achieve for the charity this year?

To help everyone within ReportOUT if they’re going through hard times and keeping the team together.

List one personal achievement you want to accomplish as a result of being part of the charity.

Setting up and running online meetings.

Have there been any notable moments in your life that have led you to working at and supporting the charity?

The moment I moved to the UK.

What is your personal view about global Sexual And/Or Gender Minority issues?

It is improving but still needs more.

What is the best advice you have been given?

Growth occurs when one goes beyond one's limits.

What is the best advice you would give to a young LGBTQI+ young person?

Help shaping your future.

What other hobbies and interests do you have?

I enjoy walking, languages, video games, documentaries and anime.

Who inspires you and why?

Drew, he is always improving himself and the people around him.
